This is Misty our pup that we acquired in February. She is a sister to Tina's Sadie and Jason's Nidas. She is a handful too. But we love her, all chihuahua of her!

Mid-summer

Today was Tina's birthday, and Jason and Kodi and Jacob were all here to help celebrate it with us. We even called Paul, my brother, to wish him a happy birthday. He is 71 today.

Bud fell today and is pretty sore. He came into the computer room and it was dark after he had been outside, real bright. He thought his chair was there at the computer, but it wasn't and he sat straight down to the floor. He landed on the same hip he replaced about 2years ago. He is really sore, but we're praying he'll be good to go. I know he heals much slower now days, but we'll have to wait and see how he heals.

I'm still looking for some part time work, need it much, as I assume most people do. Praying for the Lord to enlighten me to the needs of others so we can help each other out.

Been too long from blogging, hopefully can remember the darn passwords to get in here. I'm hoping to add some pictures too. Thanks for reading.

Summer is gone, and fall is here

WE did some improvement on the house this summer, or had the work done anyway. We can tell a difference already too. I know you won't be able to see the before picture, but here is the after pictures.

Over Labor Day Dave and Tina came and we had a nice time, I think anyways. Tina and I was walking and we went to Pat's house and as I was walking into her house I stumbled on the door easement and hit my pinky finger on the door. I went to the ER and had 4 stitches put in. I felt a fool, but I can still tell you "I Love YOU".

Just got the plants in from the outside summer season, just before we started getting the cold weather. It rained all night, and most of the day, so much that Ulysses had to run mud routes for school.

I follow the 'U-Tigers' every Friday night, they are doing well, but I could be prejudice too.

June is here, and it's the start of summer

This is the boys, grandpa, grandsons and great grandsons

This is Clark, Lexi's big brother, he is doing his job on a big lawn tractor.

This is great granddaughter Lexi Mae

This is me, holding Jake, someone put him on my lap, I'm still on a lifting restriction.

This is grand daughter Nicole

WE have had a good May, and I'm trying to get caught up on blogging. Tina's doing some, so I can pictures and get it updated frequently. I think I have more pictures from when the greatgrandkids and grandkids were here, so I'll have to share them.

We are not doing alot around here, trying to stay cool, and recuperate from illnesses/surgeries and such. We sold the Ford truck the other day, so that is a worry off our mind with it parked in the street now it's not there. We almost cried when it went bye bye. Oh well, we have a nice one that is a good replacement.

I will have to get the hang of this and maybe add some links to some favorite sites but for now this will do.

Some of you know that I had back surgery on the 15th of May. I am doing better now, I have a few restrictions, but I am recovering well. Thanks to all the well wishers, I appreciated the prayers on my behalf as well.

We had a wonderful memorial weekend this year. We had breat grandkids, and grandkids and kids here. A houseful and lots of wahoo playing too. I've got to share some special pictures too:

I'm back

I was gone for two weeks out to Highland Ranch Colorado, helping and visiting my sister Margaret. I enjoyed the mountains and the beauty out there, but more so I enjoyed being with family. I don't think Bud and Pat missed me too much, but they sure welcomed me home in style! They had Tina with them, and that was a nice surprise.

I visited with Nancy and Peggy, my two nieces, and did some shopping, and had a wonderful time with my sister. I just didn't get any pictures of it. Oh well, I have lots of memories.
